I was born on July 28, 1981 in Tulsa, Ok. I lived in Oklahoma for my entire childhood and teen years. I met my wife Tiffiny in 1999 our junior year and after college we married in 2002. In 2005 we were expecting our first child Anna, born in October, and in March 2006 I joined the United States Air Force. We were stationed in Florida until 2014 where we had two more children, Laura and Jacob. During our time in Florida we were active members at Shalimar Baptist Church where we served in the Children’s ministry and grew spiritually. After separating from the USAF we moved back to Oklahoma and came in view of call to First Baptist Church Dewar where our fourth child Luke was born.
In 2008, I realized although I was serving in a church and enjoyed church fellowship something was missing and through God’s guidance I became very aware of my sin and had a desperate need for Jesus. In 2010 I surrendered to vocational ministry and began seminary at Liberty University and later transferred to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2016 I earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education with a concentration in Biblical Counseling.
Matthew 22:37-39 has been my guide post in life as I make my journey with Christ in this Christian life. My desire is to love God with my heart, soul, and mind while loving the people of this world and teaching them what God has graciously taught me in the message of the death, burial, and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ.
